Dunmar House is small family run hotel with three generations of the Westland family working to ensure that our staff make your stay, function or meal an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Dunmar House Hotel is set in 5 acres of grassed and wooded grounds and is situated in the town of Alloa in Central Scotland.  Alloa is an ideal location to base your self to explore Scotland's Central belt with Edinburgh (Scotland Capital city), Glasgow (home of the 2014 Commonwealth Games) and Perth (gateway to the Highlands and voted Scotland's Friendliest City) all within approximately 30 miles.  Alloa train station is 1.5 miles from the hotel and offers direct links to Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh.  

We are Alloa's premier wedding hotel and can offer you a full bespoke wedding service or you may choose to use as many or few of the services that we offer as you wish.

For people looking for a golfing break, Clackmannanshire boasts several 9 and 18 hole courses. Gleneagles, home of the 2014 Ryder Cup, is under 25 miles away and St Andrews, the home of golf, is approximately 45 miles (about 1 hr) away.

We are currently planning exciting changes to our business starting with a new Light Bites lunch menu that will be available from Monday to Saturday starting Monday 22nd April 2013.  This will be followed by changes to our evening meals and the introduction of special event and tasting menus.
